
Middle School Track and Field Parents and Fans,
Today's MS track meet at GA has had its start time changed to 4:00 pm start time in an attempt to get the meet in before the potential rain begins.
Field events will start at 4:00 pm with running events starting as soon as the timing system is set up.
Please make this adjustment to your schedules and if you are providing transportation for our Panthers, a huge THANK YOU is coming your way for your willingness and flexibility in getting our kids to their event.
Departure time will be as soon as kids get out of school and the dust clears with buses headed out, etc.

The MHSAA Baseball and Softball District draw was held this past week and the results for our Panthers are as follows:
Baseball will play Kalamazoo Christian in a Pre-District game on Tuesday, May 28th with the first pitch starting at 4:00 pm. The winner of that game will move to the Saturday, June 1st District Semifinals vs Comstock at 10:00 am. The winner of that semifinal will face off against the winner of the other noon semifinal game between G-A/Parchment. The District finals will begin at 2:00 pm, also on June 1st.
For Softball, DK will face off against the winner of the Comstock/Parchment Pre-District match-up on Saturday, June 1st at 10:00 am. The winner of that game will advance to the District Finals vs. the G-A/K Christian semi at 2:00 pm.
All games for District Baseball and Softball will be played at Parchment High School. Admission tickets can be purchased on GoFan.co. Card Readers will be available on-site as well.

The boys track team competed in the Ionia Relays on Friday.
The team finished in 4th place.
Congratulations to the athletes who earned awards in the following relays:

Pole Vault – Nick Muday & Ezra Smith– 2nd place

competition.

The DK Women's Track team traveled to Ionia Relays for the first time on Friday. The girls were able to walk away with some hardware in the following races:

The DKHS Band is performing at the Smoky Mountain Music Festival in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.


Congratulations to the Varsity Golf team for their 4th place finish in the DK Kent Enyart Invitational on Thursday at Mullenhurst.
Grady Matteson finished in 5th place with an outstanding score of 80. Carter Brickley was also a top 10 medal winner and shot a career-low 86. Tyler Howland shot 93 to round out Delton's scoring.

Congratulations to the DK Varsity Baseball team getting 2 divisional wins last night against the Martin Clippers. Delton won game 1 by a score of 9-0. Chad Stopher pitched a 1 hit shutout while striking out 17 batters.in 7 innings, while Gauge Stampfler went 3-3 at the plate. DK took the 2nd game with a 10-0 score. Elliott Rogers also threw a 1 hit shutout while striking out 8 in 5 innings. Elliott also led at the plate going 3-3. Next up for the Panthers will be on Monday, April 22 at home against Holland Black River,
