
On Thursday, May 2, the SAC held its Annual SAC Scholar-Athlete luncheon in Lawton. Delton Kellogg took 15 student-athletes. To qualify for this honor athletes must earn a minimum of 4 Varsity Letters in at least 2 different sports and have a minimum GPA of 3.5. Congratulations to the following student-athletes: Isabella Morey, Samantha O'Meara, Breanna Chandler, Allison Brandli, Rhys Bedford, Madelyn Waller, Lillian Lester, Maelea Martin, Summer Ritchie, Emily Stoneburner, Collin Muskovin, Andrew Diamond, Avery Barker, Samantha Makowski, & Alexis Delaphiano.


The Women's Varsity Track team competed at the Gobles "Lil Guy's" Invite this past Friday.
Placing 4th out of 17 schools.

Due to severe weather and tornado warnings tonight's band concert is canceled.

The JV baseball scheduled vs Caledonia at DK on Wednesday, May 8th is still on as scheduled. It will be a single 7-inning game with a 4:30 start.

What a day this has turned out to be as far as rescheduling and cancellations for Tuesday, May 7th.
Here is what we have so far:
The SAC Conference Track Meet at Gobles has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 21st with all field events starting at 11:00 am. Running events will start at 12:30 pm.
Today's varsity BB and SB games vs Gobles have been rescheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, May 8th with a 4:30 pm first pitch. The varsity baseball game vs Caledonia on Wednesday has been cancelled.
Today's JV BB game vs Schoolcraft has been cancelled. Tomorrow's JV BB game vs Caledonia's Freshman team is still on as scheduled at DK. However, if Caledonia needs to reschedule their league date from today, our JV game with them will be cancelled. Stay tuned on that one.

High School Track Regional #24-3 information is in!
Our DK Panthers will be heading to Bangor High School on Friday, May 17th with gates opening at 1:00 pm and the pole vault will begin at 2:00 pm. The remaining field events will begin at 3:00 pm with running events starting at 4:00 pm.
Admission price will be $7.00 and tickets can be purchased via GoFan or with a credit card at the gate. NO CASH. MHSAA Tournament merchandise will be available provided by E.A. Graphics.

Today's (4/29) varsity softball game at Hopkins HS has been canceled due to unplayable field conditions. We are in the process of finding a makeup date and will send that info out when we have it.
Also, there will be no golf practice today, per Coach Hogoboom. Take this time to get some of that homework caught up.
Just a quick reminder that the High School is MSTEP testing on Tuesday, April 30th. Only 11th graders will be in attendance at school during the morning hours. A modified 2-hour delay schedule will be used for all other high school students. All students must log in for distance learning starting at 11:30 am.
Juniors must report for their normal start time (7:55 am) with a fully charged Chromebook. A good night's rest and a good breakfast in the am are always good things to prepare for a morning full of testing. They will be allowed to leave school after their testing is completed and then must log on at 11:30 for distance learning.
High School practices can begin no earlier than 3:30 pm.
