Last Friday, our AP Environmental Science class had an incredible day aboard the GVSU research vessel D.J. Angus out of Grand Haven! They dove into hands-on science, collecting and analyzing water samples like true researchers.
Not only did they learn to use relevant scientific equipment, but their data will contribute to an ongoing water monitoring project that's been making waves since 1989!
Thanks to everyone involved in this amazing educational outreach program—what a fantastic way to learn about our precious lakes!
