green school
Delton Kellogg is the only district in Barry County to receive a Michigan Green Schools Emerald certification.  Our beautiful eighty acre campus includes a rich mixture of habitats including wetlands, meadows, and woodlands.
Delton Kellogg Schools supports its campus Green Team.  Beginning in elementary, environmental stewardship is learned by doing.  Students maintain building recycle centers that include stations for batteries, juice pouches, plastic, and paper.  The High School team plans and implements projects like the development of the Harry Stolt Nature Trail, pop can solar convection heaters, Earth Week activities, native plantings, and a bird/bat program.  All are welcome to participate including community members.
