2025 Bond Proposal Information

What to Know about the May 6th Election

After months of planning, community input, and staff contributions, the Delton Kellogg Schools Board of Education unanimously passed a resolution to call a special bond proposal election for May 6:

On May 6, voters in the Delton Kellogg Schools district will consider a bond proposal for school facilities improvements.

Proposed projects include:

Safe & Efficient Infrastructure

  • Access control & security cameras

  • New fire alarm & PA systems

  • LED lighting, HVAC, & building management systems

Building for Real World Skills

  • New Ag-Science Barn

  • Upgraded Wood, Manufacturing & Auto Shops

  • New Home Ec & Life Skills Room

  • New Greenhouse & Outdoor Learning Spaces

Maximizing Space at Elementary & Middle Schools

  • Further improvements to the Elementary’s aging spaces through a classroom remodel and a new, centrally located cafeteria

  • Expanding access to early childhood learning and childcare with renovated classrooms and a new playground

  • Renovating Middle School classrooms, group learning spaces, lighting, HVAC, restrooms, and more

  • Redesigning a portion of the Middle School for a unified Upper Elementary (4th-5th grade) separate from 6th-8th grade.

Other Project highlights

  • New stadium bleachers, press box, 

  • ADA access and team room

  • Bus replacements

  • High School restroom & kitchen upgrades

  • Continuing roofing and paving improvements

If approved by voters, the proposal would provide $43,000,000 for the above improvements with a projected zero-mill increase over the current levy.
